The Masterplan |

The Bonnington Group has developed a masterplan for the redevelopment of the site. The masterplan, as a whole, proposes the retention and conversion of the listed Gillette Building to hotel use and the comprehensive redevelopment of the remainder of the site to provide a significant quantum of modern flexible Class B1(a), B1(b) and B1(c) floorspace’. The overall vision for the site is to create a fully integrated ‘business community’, containing flexible business floorspace (designed to cater for a range of potential users) contained within a high quality landscaped environment and fully serviced by a number of ancillary uses (including a new hotel). The new hotel is also intended to provide a service to the wider area, providing accommodation to workers and business persons not only visiting and working at Gillette Corner but also the wider Great West Road employment area. |
